Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I built Fidget Illusion around one simple question: Can an iPhone make you feel an object that isn’t actually there? The first experiment was a steel ball. Move your iPhone and a virtual ball responds using real-time physics. When it hits the wall, haptics and metallic sound are synchronized with the collision. There’s no real ball inside the phone — but your hand may feel like there is. I also added three other tactile experiences: a vertical steel ball, a ratchet dial, and bubble popping. The unusual thing about this app is that screenshots and videos can’t really show its main feature. You have to hold it. So if you have an iPhone, please download it for free and try “Roll the Steel Ball” first. I’d really love to hear one thing: Did it feel like something was actually moving inside your iPhone?
