Tunnelsight
Crafted for developers, network, and security researchers
TunnelSight is an on-device network microscope for iOS that makes zero-trust testing and traffic analysis simple for developers, network engineers, and security researchers. It captures HTTP/S traffic locally with a lightweight, secure architecture, then lets you replay requests as cURL and export request/response pairs as structured JSON. Built for professional iOS development, it keeps analysis fast, private, and completely on-device.
Hi Product Hunt, we built TunnelSight to make iOS traffic analysis simpler, faster, and more practical for real-world debugging and security testing.
The goal was to create a tool that gives developers and security researchers a clear view of what an app is actually doing on the network, without depending on cloud services or a heavy setup.
A few things TunnelSight is designed for:
- Live packet interception through a local VPN + MITM proxy architecture.
- cURL-exact replay so intercepted requests can be reproduced instantly in a terminal.
- JSON export and reporting for easier analysis and sharing.
I’d love to hear what workflows you’d use this for, what would make it more useful, and what you’d want to see next. Thanks for checking it out.

Who hunted Tunnelsight?
Tunnelsight was hunted by Olivier Hinds. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
