Pronoia

Spot marketplace suppression risk before the platform does

Marketplaces suppress listings for compliance gaps with no warning and those rules shift constantly across regions with no single source of truth. Pronoia reads your own listings against deterministic, continuously updated rules and flags the risk first, with paste-ready fixes. Read-only, zero credentials, nothing uploads. v1

Hi Product Hunt, I know sellers who list food products, skincare, medicines, and supplements — some of the most heavily regulated categories on any marketplace — and I've watched them deal with the same compliance issues over and over. Every time, it wasn't that they didn't care about the rules; it's that the rules are scattered, they change constantly, and nothing in the listing flow tells you which one you're about to break until it's already too late. The pattern was always the same. Every marketplace's listing pipeline validates STRUCTURE: schema, required fields, image specs. None of them validates LAW. So GPSR responsible-person gaps, missing children's-product certificates, unsupported health claims, Prop 65, lithium battery attributes — all of it uploads cleanly and gets caught later by an enforcement bot, after publication. That's the moment the listing goes down. Then the fix is slow: Amazon's own compliance-document review runs 15 business days with the listing down. Pronoia moves the check earlier. You export your own listings file — the one the marketplace already gives you — and deterministic rules run against it in your browser. Every flag names its rule, its reason, and a paste-ready fix. Three decisions for V1: Read-only. No listing writes, no API credentials, no account access. v1 works on a flat file you export yourself. No scores. Deterministic verdicts only. A false red is the most expensive thing this tool can print, so medium and low confidence rules ship as review-assist and never render a verdict. No scraping, ever. Official APIs or your own export, nothing else. The demo is the real engine, not a mockup: the same rules as the CLI, running client-side on sample catalogs or on a CSV you paste. Nothing you paste leaves your browser. What I'd like from you: if you sell on Amazon, eBay, Walmart, or an EU marketplace, run your own export through the demo. False positives are what I most want to hear about. And if you've had a listing suppressed, I'd like to know what the notice actually said — that's what the rules get built from. Happy to answer anything here.
