TrueDoc — AI Document Fraud Detection
Detect fake documents before you trust them
TrueDoc helps people and teams detect suspicious documents before trusting them. Upload IDs, passports, bank statements, paystubs, receipts, invoices, screenshots, or PDFs and get a risk report with trust score, AI-generation signals, metadata/EXIF insights, visual checks, key findings, and next steps. Built for individuals, Pro users, and business teams with shared workspaces, manual review, API, and webhooks.
I built TrueDoc because fake documents are becoming easier to create with AI — fake IDs, bank statements, paystubs, receipts, invoices, screenshots, PDFs, and synthetic-looking identity documents can now be produced faster than many people and teams can review them.
The problem is simple: many users and businesses still rely on manual document review, while fraudsters now have AI tools.
TrueDoc helps people and teams upload a document and receive an AI-powered risk report with a trust score, fraud signals, AI-generation indicators, metadata/EXIF insights, visual inconsistency analysis, key findings, and recommended next steps.
We started with document fraud detection for individuals and Pro users, and we are now expanding into business workflows for SMBs, HR teams, fintech, rental screening, insurance, compliance, marketplaces, and other document-heavy industries.
Today, TrueDoc supports:
• AI document fraud detection • Fake, edited, and AI-generated document checks • Metadata and EXIF analysis • OCR and visual inconsistency review • Trust score and risk-based reporting • PDF report downloads • Pro plan for individual users who need more checks and full reports • Business Workspace for teams • Shared reports and role-based access • Manual review workflow • API and webhooks for Business Scale and Enterprise workflows
For Product Hunt users, we’re offering 1 month free on the Pro plan.
The Pro plan is designed for people who need more than a basic free check — users who want full risk reports, more monthly document checks, PDF downloads, and a clearer way to review suspicious documents before trusting them.
Our goal is to help people and teams stop relying only on manual review and give them a faster way to detect document risk before approving users, payments, claims, rentals, applications, onboarding decisions, or suspicious online interactions.
I’d love your feedback on the Pro experience:
Is the verification report clear enough to help you decide whether a document looks trustworthy or risky?
Does the trust score, fraud signals, metadata/EXIF review, and visual inconsistency analysis feel useful?
What would make you upgrade to Pro after trying the free version?
Are 20 document checks per month enough for individual Pro users, or should Pro include more?
Which document types should Pro users be able to check most often — IDs, passports, paystubs, bank statements, receipts, invoices, screenshots, or PDFs?
Would you use TrueDoc Pro for personal fraud protection, rental checks, online marketplace deals, job offers, financial documents, suspicious screenshots, or document review before sending money or sharing personal information?
What is missing from the report that would make it more valuable?
Thanks for checking out TrueDoc — excited to hear what you think 🚀
