Tripshare
Travel guides by real travelers
Most travel apps show sponsored lists and AI itineraries. TripShare is different — built by travelers, for travelers. Create day-by-day guides with real stops, maps and photos. Keep them public or lock them with an access code. Discover guides from people who've actually been there. Follow travelers you trust. No ads. No influencers. Free. Built by a solo developer

I built TripShare because every time I came home from a trip, friends asked "where did you stay? what did you eat? what's worth skipping?" — and I had no good way to share it. Existing apps were either too generic (AI lists, sponsored content) or too complex. I wanted something simple: create a real guide from your actual trip and share it with people who trust you. TripShare is a free iOS app where you can: Build day-by-day itineraries with real stops and maps Keep guides private (with access codes) or share them publicly Follow travelers whose taste you actually trust This is a solo project — no team, no funding. Just something I built because I needed it. Would love any feedback, and happy to answer questions below! 🙏

Who hunted Tripshare?
Tripshare was hunted by Shane KJ. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
