TranscriptFlow

Free YouTube transcript generator

TranscriptFlow turns any YouTube video into clean, timestamped text in seconds. Paste a link and copy the transcript, translate it into any language the video supports, or download it as TXT, SRT, VTT, PDF, or Word. It also does whole playlists — export an entire course or channel as one combined PDF/Word doc or a ZIP of files. No signup, no stored data, works on phone and desktop.

Hey PH 👋 I built TranscriptFlow because getting text out of a YouTube video was always more annoying than it should be — YouTube's own transcript panel can't really be copied or downloaded, and on mobile it's usually missing entirely. Paste a link and you get a timestamped transcript in seconds. What I think makes it worth a look: • One-click copy of the whole transcript (not line-by-line) • Translate into any language the video supports • Export as TXT, SRT, VTT, PDF, or Word — files named after the video • Whole playlists: one combined PDF/Word document, or a ZIP — great for turning a course into study notes • Non-English scripts (Hindi, Arabic, etc.) actually render correctly in the PDF, which surprisingly few tools get right • Free, no signup, and I don't store your URLs or transcripts It's an indie project — the single-video tool is free and ad-supported; a small Pro tier ($4.99/mo) covers bulk playlist exports since those cost real money to process. Would genuinely love feedback — especially on what export formats or workflows you'd want next.
