Hello, Product Hunt Community! 👋 My name is Jack - I've been a big fan of daily mobile puzzle games and wanted to try my hand at building something while I was on paternity leave and I landed on a game that I released on the iOS App Store over the weekend. It is called 🚂 Train: Connect the Tiles! It is inspired by Mexican Train dominoes (my wife's favorite game), but with a bit of a twist. You build "Train Lines" by moving tiles around the grid so that they match their neighbors either in shape, number, or color. The fewer moves you are able to do this in, the better! A neat thing about the game's development that I thought this community would be interested in: all of the puzzle generation takes place locally using a pseudo-random number generator, meaning you will get the same daily puzzle as everyone even if you are never connected to the Internet. This also means that there are millions of puzzles to play! There are no ads, a free daily puzzle, and access to 49 other puzzles immediately on downloading. No data is gathered beyond what is required to do some light analytics to inform future development, and all of the that data is fully anonymized. Appreciate any feedback. It was fun to build so hopefully you all are able to have fun with it as well!
