TrailVu
Interactive course maps for trail races and ultras
Runners study a race course for months, but most events still offer a PDF map. TrailVu turns a single GPX file into an interactive course map and elevation profile for your race website, with aid stations, cut-off times, road vs trail sections and leg-by-leg analysis. Embed it on any site with one line of code, and we keep it updated when the route changes. Explore UTMB, Western States and more, or send us your GPX to join the beta.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Ben, I built TrailVu. I'm a keen ultra runner and wanted to solve a frustration that is shared across the running community. Runners study a course for months, but most race websites still give them a static PDF. We thought they deserved better. What it does: TrailVu turns a single GPX file into an interactive course map and elevation profile you can embed on your race website. Runners can: - Zoom and follow the full route, with every aid station and cut-off time marked - See the climbs and descents alongside the map - Break the course into legs between aid stations and study each one - See which sections are on road and which are on trail

Who hunted TrailVu?
TrailVu was hunted by Ben Catalonia. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
