I needed to know if I should be inside or outside this weekend, based on dangerous air quality alerts from wildfires on the other side of Colorado. No other resource has an easy way to see a point forecast from my area and visualized the plumes on a map in one simple place. So I built TrailSmoke and my friends love it! There is additional info about yearly trends and how these models work too.

Who hunted TrailSmoke?

TrailSmoke was hunted by Ryan Weller. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post.
