Our team is working on multiple projects, and we have to track some important website metrics.
However, finding the best analytics tool to fit our needs has been a long problem for us.
While google analytics is the choice for most companies, we can all agree that getting info out of it can be a very hard task, especially with the google analytics 4 update.
We tried searching for other solutions, but we couldn't find anything that would fit our needs. They're either too simple to the point where they won't store any user data and make the stats inaccurate because of this, or too complex, like google analytics 4.
This is why we started Traffik - we want it to be the most accurate, flexible, and easy-to-use web analytics product.
Here's how Traffik is different and how it can help you:
1. We have a dynamic session length. While other products will decide for you how long a "session", or a "visit" is, we allow you to set your own session length so that you can have more control over what this means for your website.
2. We use cookies (for accuracy purposes), we are not afraid of cookies, and don't think that cookies are evil when used right of course. We try our best to match a website visitor with a previous visit, so that we get a more accurate number of visitors, and don't count duplicates.
3. Ignore rules - they allow you to configure which pages you want to leave out of the metrics. You can do this without any code changes, straight from the admin panel.
Traffik is free for now, and I am not sure yet if we will have a paid option in the future, but one thing is for sure - any website you add until (and if) we introduce a paywall, will stay free forever, so hurry up, sign up and add your website!
