Tradelock
Tradelock enforces your trading rules for you
Every trader has rules. The problem is that the version of you who sets them isn't the version of you who breaks them. TradeLock lets you set daily loss, trade count and loss-streak limits while you're calm, then locks MT5 and TradingView the second you cross one. No instant override. Trades journal themselves, and a pre-trade checklist of your own rules has to pass before you enter.
Hey Hunters 👋
I trade forex. A few months ago i passed my second phase 1 on a propfirm, and in phase 2 I had a red morning, told myself I'd win it back, and turned one bad trade into six and the account was gone by lunch. Nothing in my setup stopped me, and this was the 2nd time in a row i passed phase 1 and then blew the account, the platform was very happy to keep taking orders.
Every trader knows their rules. The problem is that the version of you who sets them and the version of you who breaks them are not the same person. So I built the thing I needed: a way for calm-me to bind tilt-me.
TradeLock does three things:
🔒 Auto lock: set max daily loss, trade count and loss-streak limits. Break one and MT5 and TradingView lock, or whatever apps you preselect. There's no instant override button, because an instant override button is just a slower way of revenge trading.
📓 Trade journal: every trade logged automatically, so you can see the pattern instead of guessing at it with a discipline score given to you.
✅ Rule checklist: build your own pre-trade rule book. If a setup doesn't pass your own checklist, you don't take it.
✅ Live Propfirm connection: connect your tradelock to your Propfirm account to help you implement and track your rules live whilst trading your challenge or funded account.
It's live on iOS now. It's especially useful if you're on a prop firm challenge, where one tilt session doesn't cost you a bad day, it costs you the account.
I'd love your honest take on one thing in particular: how hard should the lock be? Right now there's no instant override at all. Some testers say that's the entire point; others say they'd want a 15-minute cooling-off unlock instead of a hard stop. Where would you land and what would you want locked that I haven't thought of?
