TradeHub Tools
Free NEC Electrical and HVAC Field Calculators
Free field-use electrical and HVAC calculators for electricians, HVAC techs, contractors, and apprentices. TradeHub Tools covers NEC load, breaker sizing, wire size, ampacity, EV charger circuits, voltage drop, conduit fill, box fill, BTU load, Manual S, and Manual D workflows, with source-scope notes, conservative result boundaries, and print/share output for field use.
Hi - we built TradeHub Tools as a free field-use calculator suite for electricians, HVAC techs, contractors, apprentices, and technical training use.
The goal is practical job site reference, not generic calculator output. TradeHub covers electrical workflows like NEC load calculation, breaker sizing, wire size, ampacity, EV charger circuits, voltage drop, conduit fill, and box fill. It also includes HVAC screening tools for BTU load, Manual S, and Manual D workflows.
A few things we focused on:
• Free access with no login • Source-scope notes on calculator results • Conservative result boundaries instead of pretending to give final approval • Print / save / share output for field notes • Mobile-first layouts for jobsite use
I’d appreciate feedback from anyone in electrical, HVAC, construction, apprenticeship training, or technical education.
