I'm Alex, a web designer for the past 10 years and a trader for the past 5. Trade & Repeat started as a tool I built for myself.
The problem: backtesting is how you find out whether a strategy actually works before you risk real money. But every serious bar-replay tool I tried was English-only. That sounds minor until you remember that millions of Spanish-speaking traders are learning to trade in their own language, then hitting a wall the moment they want to test what they've learned. So I built the tool I wished existed: written in Spanish from day one, not translated as an afterthought.
What it does:
• Replay real historical candles bar by bar: up to 15 years of forex/CFD data (M1 to D1) and futures back to 2010, micros included (MES, MNQ, MGC, MCL)
• Mark trades with real P&L per instrument, then review your stats instantly
• Backtest up to 3 instruments or timeframes side by side, each with its own replay
• 30+ native indicators, plus Smart Money Concepts tools (FVGs, CHoCH, premium/discount zones)
• A prop-firm challenge simulator: set your own rules (profit target, daily and trailing drawdown, consistency, 1 or 2 phases) and see whether you'd pass before paying for a real evaluation
How it evolved: the replay engine runs entirely in your browser. Once your candles load, stepping through history doesn't hit a server, so it stays fast no matter how long you practice.
