I'm RahRah — solo founder and dev on TrackRax. I run a trading/investing page on the side, and the whole idea started from the same instinct: track everything, don't get blindsided. I kept getting hit with subscription charges I'd forgotten about, so I built a tool to actually stay ahead of renewals instead of finding out after the fact.
It started as a single HTML file I was hacking on solo, and turned into a full app with real live payments, push/email reminders before every renewal, and CSV import if you're coming from a spreadsheet. No team, no funding — just building in public and shipping as I went.
