Trackit.Money — Join the waitlist
The budgeting agent for families that acts, not just advises
Most budgeting apps are passive dashboards. Trackit has an AI agent that takes real actions: rebalances envelopes, auto-categorises imports, and proactively flags spending patterns. No bank linking ever — upload CSVs or bank statements. Use it solo or add household members with custom permissions. Live interactive demos of the mobile and web app are on the site. Waitlist open now with a locked-in pre-release discount.
Hey Product Hunt — Jed here, founder of Trackit.Money. Let me give you the full picture.
WHY I BUILT THIS
Every budgeting app I tried did the same thing: recorded my spending, showed me a chart, and left me to figure out what to do next. And every single one was built for one person — not a household. I have a partner. We share bills, split responsibilities, and argue about money the way all couples do — not because we disagree on goals, but because we have no shared system that actually works.
I spent months building the tool I actually wanted.
---
THE AI AGENT — THIS IS THE CORE DIFFERENCE
Trackit's agent doesn't just answer questions. It operates inside a sandbox and takes real actions on your behalf.
Agentic tasks it can execute:
- Rebalance your envelopes based on the last 3 months of actual spending
- Move overspend from one envelope to another automatically
- Auto-categorise every transaction when you import a statement
- Auto-fill envelope allocations from your historical patterns
- Restructure your entire budget when your spending habits shift
Proactive insights (no prompting needed):
- Flags overspend trends before you've noticed them yourself
- Spots category patterns across months — "utilities up 20% over 3 months"
- Identifies envelopes you're consistently over or under on
- Suggests specific adjustments with reasoning behind each one
---
ENVELOPE BUDGETING
Full envelope system built in. Create envelopes, name them, allocate budgets per category. The agent can auto-fill them from your history or you set them manually — whichever you prefer. Envelopes update in real time across every member of your household the moment a transaction is imported.
---
IMPORTING — NO BANK LINKING, EVER
Download a CSV or bank statement from your bank and upload it. That's the entire import flow. Trackit auto-categorises every transaction on import — no manual tagging, no sorting. Works with any bank's export format. Your bank credentials never touch Trackit or any third party. This is a deliberate privacy decision, not a roadmap item.
---
SOLO OR HOUSEHOLD — WITH REAL PERMISSIONS
Use Trackit completely alone, or build a household. Add members and set exactly what each person can see and do:
- **Full access** — see and edit everything
- **Edit** — manage transactions and envelopes, no admin
- **View only** — see the picture, change nothing
A partner might have full access. A teenager gets their own spending envelope and nothing else. Nobody gets added without an invite. You stay in control.
---
THE DASHBOARDS
**Mobile app:** Live net worth, cashflow, and every envelope — clean and shared with the whole household. The agent is one tap away.
**Web dashboard:** A full-screen cashflow Sankey diagram that builds live as the month unfolds — tap any segment to drill into the transactions behind it. Net worth trends over time alongside the monthly view. Statement import, reports, and the floating agent panel.
Both are fully functional. Both run off the same data. Both are available to every household member simultaneously.

TRY IT BEFORE YOU SIGN UP
There are live interactive demos of both the mobile app and the web dashboard at trackit.money — no account needed. Click around, see exactly how it works, then decide.
