Trackdown
Count down to what's coming. Count up from what matters.
Track vacations, milestones, anniversaries & streaks from your home screen. Native iOS with beautiful widgets and dark mode. No account. No subscription. No tracking. Everything on your device. 100% free, forever.
Hey Product Hunt,
I'm Martin - a CS student in Germany while building my first ever Swift app.
Trackdown started from a simple frustration: I wanted to know how many days until my summer vacation. Every time I would open my calendar, do mental math, and close it again. Every countdown app I tried was either bloated, paywalled, or felt nothing like a native iOS app.
So I built one from scratch in Swift. It does two things:
- Count down to things you're excited about. Vacation, exams, a concert, payday.
- Count up from events that matter. Days sober, days running, years together.
Pin any event to your home screen / lock screen widget and you never have to open the app to check.
No account. No subscription. No tracking. No ads. Nothing on a server.
Just your moments, on your device.
This is my first shipped iOS app and I built it to learn. I'd genuinely love to hear what you think: what's missing, what's confusing, what you'd want to see next.
Download it, add an event, and tell me what you think.

Who hunted Trackdown?
Trackdown was hunted by Martin Mirchevski. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
