TraceTree
Open-Source Runtime Malware Analysis and Tracing
TraceTree is an open-source runtime malware analysis tool built for deep behavioral tracing. Instead of just logging execution, it monitors live processes using severity-weighted syscall scoring and precise behavioral signatures to catch malicious activity as it happens. Designed to counter advanced threats like AI-driven runtime injections, it gives security researchers a clear, structured view of how binaries behave under the hood.
Hey Product Hunt!
I built TraceTree because standard analysis tools often give you a massive, unorganized firehose of logs that take forever to parse through when you're analyzing a suspicious binary and they often miss watching what the package actually spawns when you let it execute.
I wanted something that actively scores runtime behavior and weights syscalls by severity, making it way easier to spot things like malicious runtime injections or hidden execution flows instantly. It’s entirely open-source and built for speed and clarity.
Would love to hear your thoughts, feedback, or any features you'd like to see added next!
