I built Tornedo because I kept bouncing off GUI torrent clients on Linux, they were either a packaging headache or too heavy for the old laptop I run daily. So I built the thing I actually wanted: a fast, scriptable, terminal-first client.
What it does:

🏷️ Parses release titles into structured metadata (quality, codec, HDR, season/episode)
📂 Lets you pick exactly which files to grab before downloading starts
🔄 Recovers cleanly from crashes, no guessing what happened after a restart
🖥️ Real terminal UI (Ink + React), fully scriptable, pipes into jq
🩺 tornedo doctor for when something breaks and you want a straight answer
Plain Node (>=22). No Electron, no tray icon eating RAM in the background.
