TopCompanies.live
Free company leaderboard where only the Top 10 is for sale
Any company can list for free — unlimited, instant, no approval. Only the Top 10 is for sale: it ranks by monthly subscription, so pay more than the company above you and you pass them. Stop paying and you keep the listing, just not the rank.
Hey PH 👋
topcompanies.live is a leaderboard with two halves.
The board is free. Submit a URL, pick a category, done — no card, no queue, no approval, no cap. A free listing gets everything a paid one does: its own page, click tracking, 90-day rank history, and an embeddable badge. Below #10, order is simply who listed most recently, so listing today puts you near the top tonight.
The Top 10 is the only thing for sale, and it ranks by the size of a monthly subscription — $10 minimum, $5 steps. Pay more than the company above you and you pass them. That's the whole rule.
It's inspired by outbid.lol, with two changes: the money recurs instead of being a one-time bid, and the board itself is free. That means the ranking reflects who's committed now, not who spent the most on one afternoon — and the price only ever buys the top, never the entry.
Recurring money buys a time dimension a one-time bid can't have, which is where most of the features come from:
Rank history — a daily snapshot for every company, free ones included
Rank alerts — email (plus optional Slack/Discord) the moment someone passes you, with what taking the place back costs
Auto-defend — set a rank and a compulsory ceiling, and your bid raises itself when you're passed
Crown streak — days spent at #1
Archive — every paid run that has ended, and what it used to cost
Cancel and nothing is taken down: the bid ends, the listing drops into the free half with its page, clicks and history intact.
