I built ToolStack because picking a stack for a weekend app turned into hours of tab-hopping: which AI app builder, which coding agent, which backend, and what does any of it actually cost this month?
ToolStack is one page that answers that for builders:
- 67 tools in 14 categories, with a "best for" tag on each
- Starting prices checked on each tool's official pricing page, with the date checked and a source link
- Ready-made starter stacks, e.g. Lovable + Supabase + Stripe + Zapier to ship an app this weekend
- Side-by-side guides like Lovable vs Bolt.new and Cursor vs Claude Code
- A machine-readable tools.json and llms.txt if you want to use the data
Some links are affiliate links; they never affect rankings, and plenty of our top picks don't pay us anything. The methodology is on the About page.
I'd love to hear which tools are missing or which prices look wrong. Corrections make the whole thing better.
