Toolfiddle
143 free tools that never upload your files
Toolfiddle is 143 everyday tools that do their work inside your browser tab instead of on a server. Convert HEIC to JPG, merge PDFs, strip EXIF, cut out a background, size a passport photo, run a mortgage calculation. Your file is read locally and handed straight back. Nothing is uploaded, so there is no queue, no watermark, no account, and no daily counter. Close the tab and nothing is left sitting on anyone's server. Free and ad supported, with no paid tier holding the useful parts back.
Hi everyone. I built Toolfiddle because I got tired of the deal free tool sites offer you. Upload your file to a server you know nothing about, wait in a queue, then get it back with a watermark on it unless you hand over an email.
So this one has no server to upload to. It is a static site, and every tool runs on your own processor inside the tab. That constraint decided most of the design: no accounts, no limits, no queue, and nothing to delete afterwards because nothing was ever stored.
There are 143 tools now. Some are the obvious ones, PDF merge and HEIC to JPG and image compression. The ones I had the most fun with are the specific ones: a reef tank dosing calculator, a trucker hours of service recap, a fair play lineup generator for youth soccer coaches who want every kid to get equal minutes.
Three places it genuinely talks to the network, and I would rather say so up front: the background remover and the OCR tool download their models on first use, and the currency converter fetches exchange rates. Everything else is local.
Would love to hear which tool you actually end up using, and what is missing.

Who hunted Toolfiddle?
Toolfiddle was hunted by Siddhant Jain. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
