Tomcrest

Schwab portfolio copilot — one clear action per position

Tomcrest connects to your Charles Schwab account and turns live holdings, market data, and fundamentals into actionable insights — from morning briefs and dividend projections to per-symbol research and strategy guidance.

Top comment

I built Tomcrest because I invest through Schwab—stocks, options, and dividends—and got tired of bouncing between my brokerage, research tabs, and ChatGPT that never knew my actual positions, size, or expirations. The problem wasn’t missing data; it was decision fatigue: too much noise and no clear next step on whether to hold, trim, roll, or close. Tomcrest connects read-only to Schwab, layers in market and fundamental context, and gives one disciplined recommendation per position, with chat that already understands your portfolio. It started as “AI that reads my portfolio,” but long generic summaries weren’t useful, so I tightened the product around size → P/L → thesis → one action, added a portfolio cash map and options-focused position review, and split fast daily briefs from deeper on-demand analysis to keep things usable on real infrastructure. This launch is intentionally a small Schwab-only beta—I’d rather get honest feedback from a few investors than scale before the workflow is right.
