tokenstat was hunted by Gyorgy. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hey Product Hunt 👋
Long story short, this is tokenstat: it runs your coding agents on your Mac or
a server and lets you reach them from your phone. It came from the idea
initially that I wanted to see all my AI usage aggregated and with a cool
heatmap to see how it adds up and what value and tokens I'm getting for
different AI plan subscriptions that I've used.
Then I added for myself small tools to be able to run CLI agents in the same
workspace, added Git integrations: review, commit, push, auto-commit, git
history, pull requests, to help with my daily work, then I wanted an
end-to-end encrypted relay designed with privacy in mind, and there can't be
any data leaks if you don't have access to any. So that's how the iPhone and
iPad apps were born.
I figured the CLI might be good to see remotely but not as convenient
even with the smallest latency to manage remotely, but good to start a session
or pick up and do things still, and the ability to do so, so I implemented a
full Chat system with a shared brain to hand off between different backends,
models and efforts without a problem. Imagine you ran out of your 5h usage and
are able to hand off, to continue the plan with another agent from your phone.
It improved my productivity a lot.
All other things were natural, to access machines with remote desktop,
ssh management with the same principles, secured / encrypted vault with no
operator reset, sync all snippets and hosts between all devices effortlessly,
protected by password, Touch ID / Face ID.
Now the product supports 18+ different coding agents for CLI, 7 for Chat (more soon), and
way more features than I possibly could explain here at a length anyone would
be willing to read.
The software has a source-available license, aka the source code is
reviewable, and is published by an immutable GitHub Actions pipeline to
guarantee you get the same software the release was tagged for, and which
commit it was built from.
Everything that runs on your own machine is free: the Mac app, the CLI, the MCP server. Reaching one machine from another starts from $48 a year.
