They say you should build what you want for youself,, so we did. Siri, Google Assistant, Alexa, ChatGPT, and Claude were all supposed to be our 'personal assistant' but basically stop at setting an alarm or playing a song. Toivo is the Finnish word for 'hope' -- since we are building the assistant we hoped we'd all have by now.
What if a personal assistant could book things for you? Restaurants, campsites, flights, and even fight with your insurance company when it needed to?
That was the inspiration for Toivo.ai - an AI powered personal assistant that can actually *do things* for you - starting with restaurant reservations. Travel and home services coming soon!
Check it out (its free!) for booking a restaurant reservations in the US. Toivo takes your requests from 'to-do' to 'done' by navigating the web for you. Over time it'll support email and phone actions as well.
If it needs more info from you to complete a reservation (like date, or your email, or even a one-time code), it'll ask. Coming soon are profile preferences and reservation history (to modify / cancel from within Toivo instead of via email).
