TimeZoneBar
Drag one time zone and every other zone follows
A free, open-source macOS menu bar app for planning across time zones. Every zone has its own slider, and they all share one moment: drag Tokyo to 9 AM and see everyone else's time, with working hours shaded and +1/−1 day tags. DST-correct (including +5:30 and +5:45 offsets), search by city or abbreviation (PST, CET, JST), native SwiftUI, no tracking.
Hi Product Hunt! 👋
I work with people in several time zones and kept doing "if it's 9 AM in Tokyo, what time is it for everyone else?" in my head. World clocks only show *now*, so I built TimeZoneBar.
Every zone gets its own slider, and they all share one moment in time. Drag any of them and the rest follow, with +1/−1 day tags and green working-hours shading, so finding a slot where everyone's awake takes seconds.
It handles the annoying cases correctly: half-hour and 45-minute offsets, and the weeks when the US and Europe have changed their clocks but the other hasn't. It's native SwiftUI, free, open source and has no tracking.
I'd love to hear what would make it more useful for you!
