TickerClip

Capture any ticker on your Mac and paste it instantly

A private, local OCR capture tool for macOS traders. Select a ticker on screen and paste it immediately.

Top comment

Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I built TickerClip because I was tired of repeating the same workflow: take a screenshot of a stock ticker, upload it to an AI tool, wait for recognition, copy the result, and return to my trading terminal. TickerClip turns that into one shortcut: press ⌥⌘3, select any ticker or text on your screen, and it is copied to your clipboard instantly. OCR runs locally with Apple Vision, so your screenshots never leave your Mac. The current beta supports both Apple silicon and Intel Macs, as well as Chinese and English text. I’d love your feedback—especially on recognition accuracy and which trading or productivity apps you use it with. Thanks for checking it out!
