I built Thumbnail Grabber because I constantly document and take notes from YouTube videos.
One thing that always annoyed me was trying to get the thumbnail of a video. Most of the time I had to inspect the page, dig through the source code, or settle for a lower-quality image.
So I built a simple tool for myself: paste a YouTube URL, instantly preview the available resolutions, and download the thumbnail you need.
It started as a personal utility, but after using it almost every day, I realized other creators, designers, marketers, researchers, and note-takers might find it useful too.
