Threadline
Two-way Discord ↔ GitHub sync with AI issue labeling
Threadline syncs Discord forum threads with GitHub issues — in both directions. • New Discord thread → GitHub issue created instantly • New GitHub issue → Discord thread created instantly • Comments sync both ways in real time • AI auto-labels issues as bug, feature, question, or spam • Close GitHub issue → Discord thread locked Free: 1 repo, unlimited sync, AI labeling Pro ($9/mo): up to 5 repos, label routing, PR review reminders
I built Threadline because I was tired of manually copying bug reports between Discord and GitHub.
As a solo developer running a small community, I found myself constantly:
- Copying Discord messages into GitHub issues
- Updating Discord when issues got resolved
- Missing comments that only existed on one platform
So I built a bot that does it automatically — in both directions.
The hardest part was preventing infinite sync loops (Discord → GitHub → Discord → ...). Solved it with idempotency keys + HTML comment markers embedded in issue bodies.
This is my first product launch, so I'm still learning. But I'm committed to responding to every issue and piece of feedback as fast as I can — your input will directly shape where this goes next.
Would love to hear from anyone managing both a Discord community and a GitHub repo. Happy to answer any questions!

Who hunted Threadline?
Threadline was hunted by BUMRAM. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
