I built TherapyFor.us because most therapy sites assume two things: that you speak English, and that you're comfortable sitting face-to-face with a stranger and explaining what's wrong. For a lot of people — especially immigrants, people who are shy about therapy, or anyone who just doesn't want to do it in person — neither of those things are true.
So I built a guide that's honest and story-led (divorce, grief, money stress, loneliness — written the way it actually feels, not clinical jargon), available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, and Russian, that points people toward online therapists they can talk to by text or video, on a simple weekly payment, without ever leaving their couch.
