Top comment

Hello everyone! I'm Lucy, the creator of The Writer's Quarter.

I built The Writer's Quarter because I wanted somewhere writers could bring all their ideas together without generative AI taking over the creative process.

From manuscript writing and formatting to corkboards, character profiles, family trees, maps and mind maps, my aim was to give writers a creative workspace where their stories remain entirely their own.

We've also introduced a free community area, including The Bookshelf, directories for creatives and beta readers, and a Knowledge Exchange.

I'd love to hear what you think! What writing or planning tools do you find most useful, and is there anything you'd like to see added?

The Writer's Quarter was hunted by Lucy Bond. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
