Hi Product Hunt 👋
I built The Sorting Ceremony because most Harry Potter house quizzes online felt disposable — quick results, shallow logic, and almost no sense of immersion. They often gave you a house, but not a meaningful experience.
I wanted to build something that felt closer to what fans actually care about: identity, atmosphere, interpretation, and that moment of being “chosen.” So instead of making just another random sorting quiz, I designed a richer Hogwarts House experience with deeper personality logic and a Final Choice mechanic that lets users compare their strongest match with the house they ultimately choose for themselves.
As the project evolved, it became clear this shouldn’t stop at House sorting. We started expanding into a wider magical identity system — including Patronus result pages, Patronus meanings, rare-result content, and now Wand Quiz planning as the next major step.
Right now, I’d especially love feedback on three things:
1. Does the quiz feel immersive enough?
2. Do the results feel personal rather than random?
3. What would you most want to explore next — Patronus, Wand, or deeper House explanations?
