Hi Product Hunt, I'm Saurav, the maker of The Side Quest 👋
It's a new tab for Chrome with wallpapers, a focus timer and a to-do list. The part I'm proudest of is that you pick a companion (Fire, Water or Grass), give it a name, and it levels up as you work. Finishing tasks, focus sessions and every game earn it XP, from level 1 to 20 with five evolutions.
There's also a small arcade inside the tab: a fighting game with specials and Supers, Bingo, chess, snake and more. You can send a friend a link and they play in their browser with no install and no account.
A few things I cared about:
• Free, with no account and no ads
• Your tasks and settings stay in your browser
• Every widget can be moved or hidden, just press and hold
I'm a solo builder, so I read every comment.
