Hey everyone — Matt here, Co-Founder of Thinkific. Today I’m excited to announce the public beta launch of The Leap by Thinkific! 🚀 The Leap is a free AI-powered digital product builder and link-in-bio storefront that enables creators to start making money, right now. ☕️The backstory Helping creators, especially those getting into digital products for the first time, is a key strategic priority of Thinkific’s. We launched The Leap in 2022 as a digital media property to build a deeper relationship with this audience and really work with them to understand their problems and try to solve them. Through our blog, weekly newsletter, and social channels, we provided creators with everything they needed to turn their passion into a viable side hustle, from helpful how-to guides to up-to-the-minute creator news. We learned a lot from creators through this process. Interacting with our audience gave us tons of insight into creators’ hopes and dreams, but also their needs and pain points. Ultimately, we found we needed a different approach for creators who are in the early stages of their monetization journey. So we got to work on building a solution that complements our core Thinkific product to directly solve this problem. 🙅The pain points There are lots of ways for creators to monetize their craft — ad revenue, sponsorships, and affiliate marketing to name a few — but there’s one revenue stream creators get the most excited about, and that’s digital products. However, we’ve found that this excitement is often met with equal levels of apprehension:

Creators are busy; despite the passive income nature of digital products, it’s hard to find the time to build them initially.

Creators fear alienating their audience; ironically they can promote someone else’s products and services, but imposter syndrome creeps in when it’s something of their own.

Creators don’t know where to start; with so many jobs to be done (and different platforms for each of them), even taking that first step can be daunting.

Ultimately, we found most creators don’t even get started, let alone find success. 💡The solution While continuing to support our community with valuable content, we decided to go a step further by creating a tool that would help creators monetize -- quickly and easily.
