The Last Maul
Co-op maze tower defence for up to 8, free in your browser
The Last Maul is a co-op maze tower defence for up to 8 players in your browser. Your towers are the walls: bend the creeps' path, share one pool of lives, survive 120 waves and three giants. Free to play (Act I, 3 races), no download, no account.
It's a co-op maze tower defence that runs in the browser. Your towers are the walls: creeps walk across open ground to your town, and every tower you place bends their path. You can't block them completely, so the fun is in making that walk as long and painful as possible, together.
A few things I'm proud of:
• Up to 8 players defend one town, one lane each, with a single shared pool of lives. Short on friends? AI teammates fill the empty seats.
• 8 races with five tower lines each, 120 waves in four acts, and giants at the end of the later acts that break the rules (one drowns your towers in a black tide, one burrows under your maze).
• A new Daily Challenge every day: same race and map for everyone, medals, one leaderboard.
• Nothing to install, and you can start as a guest.
What's free: three races and the whole first act (30 waves), plus the Daily with every race, no time limit and no ads. Premium unlocks the rest; during the beta it's $2.99/month (7-day free trial).
It's a desktop-browser game for now (mouse + keyboard). I'd love your honest feedback: what made you quit, what made you play one more wave?
