I started working on this e-paper smart screen because I wanted an eink calendar display for myself.
My problem was that I kept forgetting about appointments and meetings, because every time I picked up my phone, I got distracted and didn't look at my calendar.
That was about four years ago. My first attempts consisted of some hand-sawn wood panels and an off-the-shelf display board. 🤓
It has been a long journey since: I have polished the software🎨, added more apps such as the Picture Frame app 📸, shrunk the case to be thin and elegant 💃 and got all the necessary certifications 👮.
