I built ThatGPT because I kept copying sentences into a chat just to fix the tone, translate a line, or figure out what something meant. The text was already on the page. I wanted the AI to meet me there. ThatGPT is a Chrome extension. Highlight text on any site and a small panel opens next to the selection. Rewrite it in a casual, business, or academic tone, then replace the text right away. Translate only the text you need into one of 7 languages, without translating the whole page. Explain it in an easy, simple, or detailed way so you can understand the meaning quickly. I'd love to know where this falls short, and which one you would actually use every day: rewrite, translate, or explain. Thanks for taking a look.

Who hunted ThatGPT?

ThatGPT was hunted by Emklaud. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
