TF Diagrams
⚡ Turn your Terraform code into cloud diagrams in seconds!
⚡ Free Terraform visualizer: turn (.tf) files into interactive AWS, Google Cloud and Azure architecture diagrams and dependency graphs. Runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
Terraform describes infrastructure precisely, but a folder of .tf files is hard to picture. Every time I reviewed an infra PR, joined a new team or had to explain a stack, I ended up drawing boxes by hand - and the drawing was out of date by the next commit.
So I built TF Diagrams: it draws the diagram directly from the code itself.
What it does
🗺️ Cloud architecture diagram: AWS, Google Cloud and Azure services nested inside Cloud → Region → VPC → Availability Zone → Subnet boxes, automatically grouped from your code references. AWS and Google Cloud use their official icons.
🔗 Dependency graph: Every resource, data source, module, variable, local, output and provider, cleanly laid out from inputs to outputs.
👆 Click to explore: Click a service to see its upstream and downstream dependencies, trace a request's full journey, or click a container box (VPC, subnet) to focus on what's inside and jump straight to the code.
🖼️ Export to PNG: Quick exports for documentation, pull requests, and slide decks.
🔒 Private by design: Parsing happens 100% in your browser. No backend receives your code, no account needed, no cloud credentials required, and no terraform plan execution.
It's completely free. I'd love your feedback - especially if a diagram comes out looking weird! 🙏
