Search your images by the text inside them
TextSnap makes your image library searchable by the text inside your images. Instead of scrolling through hundreds of screenshots trying to find one specific image, simply search for a word or phrase and TextSnap finds the matching images. It’s useful for screenshots, notes, receipts, documents, memes, and anything else containing text. No filenames or manual folders needed — just search the text and find the image.
I built TextSnap because I kept having the same problem: I knew the text inside an image, but had no easy way to find that image again.
My gallery was full of screenshots, notes, receipts, and other images, and scrolling through them was frustrating.
So I built TextSnap around one simple idea: **search by what's inside the image.**
Type a word or phrase, and TextSnap finds the images containing that text.
It’s a small utility, but I’m hoping it makes managing a large image library much easier.
