Tessil
End-to-end encrypted file transfer we can't read
Tessil encrypts your files in the browser before upload, and the key lives in the share link, never on our servers, so we literally can't read what you send. Open source, EU-hosted, free, and no account needed.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm the maker. Tessil is end-to-end encrypted file transfer. You drop a file, it gets encrypted in your browser, and you get a share link. The key sits in the link itself and never reaches my servers, so all I ever store is ciphertext I can't read.
I built it because I missed Firefox Send and wanted something simple, open source, and hosted in the EU. No account needed to send, and it's free.
Happy to answer anything, I'll be around all day.

Who hunted Tessil?
Tessil was hunted by Jimmy Verburgt. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
