As a lifelong puzzle lover, I made Tenish because I wanted a daily game where you didn’t need to know the exact answer to have a chance.
The idea is simple:
One numerical question every day.
Five guesses.
Get as close as you can.
After each guess, Tenish tells you whether you’re too high or too low and gives you an idea of how close you’re getting. At the end you’ll get a score out of 1,000 and a spoiler-free result you can share.
The name comes from the way you’d answer something when you don’t know exactly:
“What time is it?”
“Uhhh… ten-ish?”
Not exact. Close enough. That’s basically the entire game.
I launched Tenish a few days ago and I’ve been having a lot of fun watching people play it (and discovering that I am also terrible at my own game).
It’s completely free, there’s no account required, and there’s one new question every day.
I’d particularly love feedback on the question difficulty and whether you’d come back for tomorrow’s.
Thanks for playing :)
