I kept reading the same sentence in tattoo forums: "I want it, but what if it looks wrong on me?" Most people answer that with a printed stencil at the studio — which is already the moment it gets awkward to say no.
Tattvue is my attempt at moving that moment earlier. You upload your own photo, bring your own design (or type the words you want as lettering), and you see it on your skin before anything is permanent.
What it is not: it is not a booking tool, not a tattoo generator marketplace, and not a replacement for your artist. It answers one question — will this look right on me — and then gets out of the way.
Honest bits, because I would want them myself:
• The first preview is free, one per device, no account needed until image generation.
• Text tattoos are part of the subscription.
• iPhone only for now.
• Bodies in the previews are AI-generated, and every preview is marked as AI.
