I'm a solo developer from Germany, and I built TaskAsQuest because I wanted a to-do app that actually motivates me without being overwhelming.
Most gamified habit trackers throw too many complex mechanics at you or hide the best features behind a paywall. I wanted to build something simple, completely free, and without any ads or subscriptions.
In TaskAsQuest, you choose a hero class, turn your one-time tasks into Quests, and your daily habits into Rituals to earn XP. The best part? If you ever feel overwhelmed by the RPG elements, you can instantly switch to the 'Task no Quest' mode for a clean, minimalist task manager experience.
Since privacy is very important to me, everything is built with a privacy-first approach.
