I'm excited to share TapeType with you today.
TapeType started from a problem I faced every day: typing the same messages over and over. Whether it was replying to emails, sending LinkedIn messages, answering customer questions, or writing documentation, I found myself constantly repeating the same text.
Existing text expanders were powerful, but many felt too complex or didn't fit the way I worked. I wanted something simple, fast, and available everywhere I type.
That's how TapeType was born. Save a snippet once, trigger it with a shortcut, and instantly insert it into Gmail, LinkedIn, Slack, Notion, Google Docs, CRMs, and virtually any website. We've also added AI to help improve and generate content when you need it—without getting in the way of your workflow.
This is just the beginning. We're working on team workspaces, smarter variables, richer AI features, desktop apps, and many more integrations.
