Tamp
A coffee journal that syncs 1,000 roasters' live catalogs
Remember every bean. Discover your next favorite. Most coffee apps are either brew timers or bare-bones logs. Tamp is built on something no other coffee app has: live catalogs from 1,000+ specialty roasters in 42 countries, synced daily from their own shops. Log a bean in 30 seconds — offline-first, one-handed — and Tamp matches your ratings against what's actually in stock right now. Free, no paywall.
I kept forgetting which beans I liked. I'd finish a bag, and three months later stand in a shop trying to remember the name. My wife and I built Tamp to fix that for ourselves.
It's a journal first: log a bag in about 30 seconds, works offline, iOS and Android, and you can use it without creating an account. The part I'm most proud of is the catalog — Tamp syncs what 1,000+ specialty roasters actually have in stock (pulled daily from their own shops) and uses your ratings to point at what to try next.
For anyone who's tried tracking coffee before: what made you stop?

Who hunted Tamp?
Tamp was hunted by Christopher Salerno. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
