Take Pills

A blister pack on your Home Screen. Tap a pill to log it.

Take Pills keeps today's doses on the iPhone Home Screen as a blister pack. Tap a pill to mark it taken or skipped, without opening the app. Schedules cover medications, vitamins, and supplements. A follow-up reminder can appear if a dose is still unlogged. Look back by day or month, and hide names on the widget and in notifications. Plans and records stay on the device. No account. One active medication is free. Lifetime Unlock is a one-time purchase. A personal log, not medical advice.

Hi, I'm Roark. I made Take Pills because I kept forgetting fish oil and vitamins. An alarm didn't work for me. I would turn it off and go back to what I was doing, and the pills were still there. I also didn't find an alarm a very interesting way to handle a small daily task. I wanted the remaining doses to stay somewhere I already look: the iPhone Home Screen. Today's round looks like a blister pack. Tap a pill and it is logged. The widget shows the same blister, and a dose can be logged there without opening the app. Each medication can have its own shape and color. A dose can be marked taken or skipped, and a wrong tap can be undone by long-pressing the empty slot. History shows which days were finished and which were only partly logged. There is a reminder at the scheduled time, and an optional follow-up if you haven't logged yet. Names can be hidden on the widget and in notifications. Plans and records stay on the device. There is no account. The App Store privacy label says no data is collected. One active medication is free, including the schedule, reminders, and log. Lifetime Unlock is a one-time purchase, $4.99 on the US App Store, and removes the limit. Medications already added can still be viewed and logged. Apple Watch can record individual pills, and offline changes sync when the watch reconnects. On iOS 26 and later, system alarms and importing medication records from Apple Health are available. I have used it for about two weeks. For my own vitamins, seeing the blister when I pick up the phone has been easier than dismissing an alarm. That is my experience. Take Pills is a reminder and a personal log. It is not medical advice. I would like feedback on two things: whether the Home Screen blister is clear at a glance, and whether setting a schedule feels straightforward.
