I’m in China for a month, moving around a lot. At first I thought my issue was just finding Qibla and prayer times. But honestly… it was me. I kept scrolling before sleep, after Fajr… and delaying prayer. So I built something for myself. Today I’m launching Tadkir. It shows prayer times based on your location, but more importantly — it locks your phone when it’s time to pray. To unlock it, you have to say “wallahi I prayed.” Now it’s simple: lie… or pray. Alhamdulillah, I choose to pray.

I built Tadkir because I was struggling with something I think a lot of us deal with… inconsistency.
I always knew the importance of praying on time, but I kept delaying it — mostly because of my phone. Scrolling before sleep, after waking up… and prayer gets pushed.
When I was traveling (currently in China), it got even harder with changing locations and prayer times.
So I built Tadkir to solve this for myself first.
The key idea is simple:
👉 When it’s time to pray, your phone locks
👉 and it does the same when its time for Adkar
👉 To unlock it, you have to confirm you prayed
And that moment honestly changes everything. You either lie… or go pray.
Alhamdulillah, I’ve been consistent for 3 weeks now.
