TackNote
Stick. Tack. Go.
TackNote pins a note to a specific window, tab, document, folder, chat, or task — and shows it only when you're looking at that exact thing. No clutter. The right note, in the right place.

This started from a genuinely dumb daily frustration: I'd jot a sticky note about an email thread, a contract, or a tab I was deep in — then either lose it in a pile, or rediscover it days later with no memory of what it was even about. Digital notes weren't better; they were just another app to dig through. The note was never where the work actually was. So I built TackNote around one idea: a note should belong to the thing you're looking at. You pin a note to a specific window, browser tab, document, folder, a conversation, and it only shows up when you're actually there. Switch away and it quietly hides. Come back and it's waiting, exactly where you left it. Context is key when jotting notes apparently. That core idea pulled in a few things along the way: - TackBoard — a corkboard to see everything at once when you do want the big picture - Voice memos that transcribe on-device - Reminders so a note resurfaces at the right moment - End-to-end encrypted, no account, no tracking — your notes are yours The thing I'd genuinely love feedback on: where would you want to pin a note that no app lets you today? That question keeps reshaping the roadmap. Thanks for checking it out Native macOS (Apple Silicon + Intel), one-time price, free 14-day trial — no card.
