TabDeck
Talk to your always-on Claude Code sessions
TabDeck keeps your Claude Code or OpenCode sessions running in tmux on your own always-on server, so they keep working while your laptop sleeps and come back after a reboot. They open in iTerm as normal tabs. Say "Jarvis, what's going on?" and the Mac widget or the phone app sums up each session, reads replies aloud, and lets you approve, reply or start sessions by voice. Bring your own model and speech, or use one ODS server. Free and open source.
Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Hassan.
I run several coding-agent sessions at once, on more than one server, and I kept losing track: which one is waiting for my approval, which one finished, and closing my laptop killed them.
TabDeck is what I built to fix that:
• Sessions live in tmux on an always-on server, come back after a reboot, and open in iTerm as normal tabs (tmux -CC).
• Say "Jarvis, what's going on?" and the widget sums up each session and reads replies aloud.
• Approve, deny, reply, or start a session in any folder, by voice, from the Mac widget or your phone.
• Bring your own model and speech (Ollama or any OpenAI-compatible server, Whisper, Kokoro), or run all three on one ODS server.
• It stays on your private network (NetBird, Tailscale, WireGuard), and it's free and open source.
Setup is one command: tabdeck setup. I'd love feedback, especially from people who run agents on remote machines.
