Taba
Interval timer for iPhone & Apple Watch
For three years, every workout of mine has been interval-based. I tried every timer app I could find — most of them were functional, but felt like spreadsheets. So I built Taba. The timer I actually wanted — minimalist design, animated gradients that shift with each phase, Apple Watch support, and full control over rounds, sets, and rest. What started as a personal project is now on the App Store. And I still use it for every workout. Now I’m happy to share it.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋 For three years, all my training has been interval-based. I tried every timer app I could find — most were functional, but felt like spreadsheets. None of them felt good to use. So I built Taba. The timer I actually wanted to use:
→ Animated gradients that shift with every phase (prepare → work → rest) → Apple Watch companion with live heart rate and calorie tracking → Full control over rounds, sets, and rest intervals → Workout history with stats and calendar view → PDF export of your training history → Custom color themes
What started as a personal project is now on the App Store. I still use it for every session.
I would love to hear your feedback — especially from anyone who regularly practices HIIT, Tabata, or CrossFit. Happy to answer any questions!
