I'm Benjamin, founder of Synkro — and yes, I counted.
47 WhatsApp messages to schedule a dinner with 8 friends. We went back and forth for 3 days. Someone suggested a date, three people couldn't, someone else proposed another one, two others disappeared from the thread. We almost gave up and just picked a restaurant for two.
That was 2 years ago. I'm a business owner in the south of France, and I was already using tools like Doodle for professional meetings. They worked — sort of. But for personal use, the experience felt... wrong. Ads everywhere. Interface straight from 2010. No WhatsApp sharing. No automatic Google Calendar sync after the date is confirmed.
So I built Synkro.
What Synkro does:
You create a poll in under 60 seconds. You share the link on WhatsApp (or anywhere). Your guests vote — no signup required, 2 taps, done. Synkro shows you which date works for the most people. Once you confirm it, everyone gets the event added directly to their Google Calendar.
That's it. No 47 messages. No spreadsheet. No "wait, which option was Sunday again?"
Who it's for:
Primarily people in France and French-speaking countries — which is why we built it entirely in French: UI, notification emails, support, and data hosting. But the problem is universal. If you've ever tried to schedule anything with more than 3 people, you know the pain.
Where we are today:
Synkro is in public beta. The core flow works end-to-end: create event → share on WhatsApp → guests vote → date confirmed → Google Calendar sync → email reminder 24h before. We've shipped the mobile-first UI, organizer dashboard, and an AI-assisted scheduling mode that suggests the best date based on vote patterns.
It's free during beta. We're validating pricing now (thinking freemium — unlimited free polls, paid for advanced features like reminders and analytics).
